The Wisdom of Tuffy

Hey All,
A couple of posts ago you saw me rocking out with an electric guitarist on the cruise ship. That’s Tuffy. He’s from Wisconsin and currently lives in New York. Not only is he a great guitarist, but he is also a very wise person. I usually gain some form of valuable information from him each day. Whether its a good musician to listen to, a interesting fact, or a great quote to use later in life.
Today we were talking about the barbecue spare ribs in the crew mess. Tuffy noted that they were Teriyaki flavored, which is unusual, unless you live in Seattle. He then followed with this comment:
“You couldn’t swing a dead guy around in that town without hitting a Teriyaki joint.”
Such a colorful way to say that there are a lot of Teriyaki restaurants in Seattle.
I felt compelled to pass this beautiful imagery on to you in hopes that his wisdom can touch as many people as possible.

I thought it was supposed to be “… swing a dead cat…”
I think that I would like to meet Tuffy. He seems like a cool guy. Anyone who refers to restaurants as joints is cool in my book. Mom a dead cat come on who would swing around a dead cat thats just weird. Btw sorry that I have missed all your calls work and school and shitty reception are all factors that lead to this, and I never know when or if I’m able to call you. Do you have service all the time? Anyway keep on truckin’.
Nice I agree with nick on the joints thing but i think i’d just like to have a friend named tuffy or anything “uffy” for that matter it’s fun. So here goes i’ve been racking my brain for music ideas and here’s what i’ve come up with.
